Training Program

Real Wing Tsun

Teaching program consist of 3 bare hands forms (Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu and Biu Tze) a form with traditional Bart Cham Dao swords and with a long wooden pole. It also applies sections with a wooden dummy. The exercise scenarios include defense against multiple attackers, against a knife, stick, against grappling etc.

Below yopu can find specific requirements for each of 12 students grades.

1st student grade:
FORM: Siu Nim Tao 1/3
THEORY: Center line concept, 4 gates. Application of simultanous defense and attack. Basic stands and steps.
TECHNIQUES: Tan sau, gaun sau, fook sau, pak sau, kuen, lin wan kuen.
FOOTWORK: Basic stand, fighting stand, turns, triangular steps, alternative steps, jig sun gerk, tan gerk, bong gerk.
APPLICATIONS: Siu Nim Tao applications with 1-2 steps. Basic ways of taking opponent down. Combinations agains straight punches, kicks, chain punches, simple elbow strikes.
SEQUENCES AND CHI-SAO: Pak sau and fook sau sequences
LAT SAO AND FREE FIGHT: Basic exercises, pak kuen against pak kuen, fook kuen against fook kuen.

2nd student grade:
FORM: Complete Siu Nim Tao
THEORY: Step and turn concept. "Borrowing the force" concept. Attack with the body side. Vulnerable points.
TECHNIQUES: Parts of the form in combinations attack - defense.
FOOTWORK: Turns in all directions. Steps with no turns. Tan-bong gerk.
APPLICATIONS: Evasion from grappling and knock-out ponds. Defense against pulls and pull-punch combinations. Defense against popular kicks. Low elbow applications.
SEQUENCES AND CHI-SAO: Pak-fook-kuen sequence, both internal and external. Lat sao basics. Tan sau and gaun sau sequences.
LAT SAO AND FREE FIGHT: Light sparring against basic attacks. Focus on opponents weak spots.
